Paulie Malherbe is a writer, filmmaker, actor and whatever else you’d like me to be from Cape Town, South Africa currently based in New York City. They are non-binary and will tell you about it unprompted. When not paying the bills as an SAT tutor, they do film production work for directors like Angela Robinson and Joey Soloway, write screenplays, fiction, and poetry, create weird YouTube videos (@PaulieOfPaulieFame) and pollute the internet with more Substack articles (also @PaulieOfPaulieFame). Read more of their work there as well as in Low Altitude Magazine.
